Students from universities of Japan visited Trinity at the request of our students from the Trinity Humanities Department. The invited Japanese students shared presentations about problems such as heavy snowfall, tsunami threat, earthquake and food scarcity, and how the government of Japan makes efforts to minimize their adverse effects. Thereafter, Trinity students shared their presentations about culture, heritage & natural calamities in Nepal like floods, earthquakes, and landslides alongside their impact. This Cultural Exchange Program greatly helped students of both countries to become more aware of the dangers of natural catastrophes and the methods to cope with them.
